The VPK program is designed to create a learning environment with activities that are individualized to enhance the manifest potential in each child. It focuses on preparing each child for greater future challenges through the improvement of spiritual, cognitive, social and language skills.
Phonetics: recognition of vowels, consonants and names, sound of words of two vowels, reading of sentences.
Language and language development, listening skills.
Numbers: recognition of numbers and counting of 1-100, numerical concepts 1-20,
Geometry basics.
Emerging literacy: development in reading skills.

Nutrition
Nutrition is a very important factor for the growth and development of the child, especially at such a critical age that young children experiment with food offers for them.
We provide healthy meals, snacks and beverages, as dictated by Miami Dade County.
- No sweets or treats are allowed for lunch or snack.
- We offer breakfast to children who arrive before 8.30 a.m.
- Special occasions for holidays and special events may require parents to bring food and / or snacks for our children. You will be notified in advance for these occasions.
- Parents must notify the school of any allergies their child may have. These allergies will be recorded in your file and there is an opportunity to register to record this information.
